*Ash Wednesday Soup Supper*
Ash Wednesday will be much different than in previous years. Due to the restrictions necessary to keep everyone safe, we will not be able to gather in the parish hall at Holy Trinity after the 6:00 p.m. Mass for our annual lite soup supper. However, this is not cause for a hangry “Oh NO!” Yes, it’s Lent, but we don’t have to give this up. Where there is a will, there is a way.
We are serving our Famous Mama Mathew’s Meatless Miracle Soup, certain to cure whatever troubles a person, pre-packaged in individual containers along with saltine crackers, to kick off our Lenten tradition of fasting. It’s grab and go! Pig out in the privacy of your own personal six-feet bubble, in your car, or in your home, knowing that you are sharing something different and something special with your parish family.
Paper bags with soup for one will be thoughtfully and carefully sealed shut and put out on table out on the bricks for your dining pleasure. Take a bag for each member of your family who come to the Ash Wednesday service.
Please notify the office by Sunday, February 14th (that’s Valentine’s Day) that you will be joining us for Ash Wednesday Super Soup Supper so we can prepare enough soup for all.
