What is Confirmation?
Confirmation is one of the three sacraments of Christian initiation, which lay the foundations of every Christian life. It completes the Baptismal anointing and is necessary for the completion of Baptismal grace. This sacrament prepares us to spread and defend the faith by word and deed. Those going through Confirmation choose a sponsor, someone to be their ‘spiritual friend’ to help them on their faith journey.
This year, Confirmation will take place for those in 6th grade and up. Classes are on Sunday mornings 10:15am-11:30.
